“Such women—such a nation.” Antifeminism and Female Mobilization in the Fascist-Axis Slovak State

Nešťáková, Denisa

The present article explores how, by way of mass mobilization efforts, the Slovak State positioned women both as instruments in reinforcing the regime’s stance and as active agents in promoting its political agenda, examining the state’s efforts to provide alternatives to suppressed feminist movements, and shedding light on the complex and often contradicting roles of women.

O týchto témach budeme hovoriť s historičkou, etnologičkou a sociologičkou. (RTVS) Hostka Tunde Lengyelová. Premiéra 26.4.2021
